EE TRADE OCCUPATIONS DRAW

Understanding the LICO Requirement for the Super VisaThe Power of Consistency in Success

IRCC has released the first ever Trade Occupation draw since the beginning of 2026. Find the draw details below.

Trades Occupations, 2026-Version 3

Number of invitations issued: 3,000Footnote *

Rank required to be invited to apply: 3,000 or above

Date and time of round: April 2, 2026 at 13:39:04 UTC

CRS score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 477

Tie-breaking rule: February 14, 2026 at 20:53:54 UTC

If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.

With 3,000 invitations issued, this is one of the larger category draws we’ve seen recently. It signals that Canada is aggressively targeting tradespeople to fill labour shortages in construction, manufacturing, and maintenance.

If you work in a skilled trade and have a profile in the Express Entry pool, check your inbox. If you missed this round, a 477 score is a clear target to aim for.

Stay tuned for more draws—general and category-specific—expected later this month.
